Description
Continuing from my Dark Vengeance set; here is my Hellbrute in 'reverse' Nurgle colors.
It's my first time doing flesh/musculature on something big. In the process of painting this guy, I nicknamed him 'tocino' after a pork dish here in our country. I learned a lot from painting this, from painting muscles and tentacles to blending to using a split finish to make it look 'wet' in some parts. Now I'm yearning to paint more things with muscles and tentacles hehe.
So I'm down to finishing the Chosen and cultists now.

The attention to detail is at a whole new level with these latest figures; you've really upped your game!
Did you have to practice a lot more to get to this new level, or did you watch Youtube vids/read up on theory more?
Could you recommend any tips on painting realistic musculature? Im hoping to paint translucent musculature eventually.../more realistic skin tones and brighter metalic colors
